postheadericon Social Support Programme

The main aim of this programme is to support low cost social networking and skills exchange opportunities for unemployed & older people.

  • To learn from each other and share skills;
  • To alleviate pressure and isolation.

Drumlin consulation 2009 Pastoral Council report states that unemployed people are experiencing relationship difficulties as there is nowhere to go for "free" and many stressed families are being forced to spend extended time together.
